I finally had my upper left wisdom tooth extracted yesterday and also had one of my upper right molars refilled, therefore I can't really chew my food well 'coz I'm being extra careful with 'em, they're still a bit sensitive. Dr. Yong did a marvellous job with both my teeth. Didn't feel a pinch the whole time he's at work. Dah besar panjang gini baru nak jaga gigi bagai....... When I was a li'l girl, my parents didn't really emphasize on the importance of dental hygiene, most of the people I know that are of my generation, experienced the same situation as I. And now with our very own offsprings, we tend to be extra strict about it, which is a good thing to do. Both my kids will not hit the sack unless they brush their teeth first, even the li'l notti boy of mine. Unless of course lah if suddenly tertidur ker. So far so good, my kids hv perfect set of teeth, pearly white and straight. I think we all should really take extra care of our teeth 'coz they cost a bomb to maintain them later on if we didn't already do so much earlier, and I always remind this to my kids. Dah lah the cost of dental treatment paid by companies in Malaysia is normally low, and some smaller companies I know don't even cover this. I've over-used mine for this year already....tsk..tsk..tsk..
Before my appt. with the dentist, I made sure I filled up my tummy well. Together with 3 other colleagues, we headed to Jaya One and this time we tried the food at Tappers Cafe

. Great decor and ambiance, friendly staff, food reasonably priced and mouth-watering array of desserts to choose from. We all ordered fr the set lunch menu.....
seafood noodles and iced coffee for me, mutton rendang & rice & vegies and iced milk tea for Nor and SifuS (hot milk tea for SifuS tho) and the ever not-so-hungry DiaHarris @ TinyL had chicken chop and lime juice. The food is so-so only but Nor & SifuS loved their mutton set so much, I tried the gravy with some rice and I hv to admit that it's tasty but I'll definitely not order this dish, ever......I just can't take the smell of mutton and anything related to it....sorry! My seafood noodles is a cross between the curry mee and the prawn mee with a good portion of shrimps and pieces of squids in it. Later, the 4 of us shared 2 slices of vanilla cheese cake
......delectable, therefore not even a tiny crumb left on our plates.....all this costs us only Rm45.
I also wanna share with u, my fave place to get my supplies of fresh fruits besides the nite markt near my house. It's called MBG
. Before they opened a branch in Jaya 33, I used to frequent their store in Alam Sentral but the one in Jaya 33 is much bigger. They hv lotsa imported fruits besides those harvested within our own soil and the price is abt the same as else where.....my nite market, hypermarket or supermarket. Another brownie point I give them is for the friendly and helpful foreign workers mending all their branches (I've been to the one in Sunway Pyramid too). I love my fruits as much as I love my desserts and I usually buy around RM15-RM20 per week, sometimes more . I would feel incomplete if I don't munch fruits for a day.
Okay babes, time to go now... Have a great weekend ya!
